I can not believe how bad the voting is for this prestigious award. It is the most sought after award in our game and we have judges who have no idea. I like Ruan - don't get me wrong - but this is ridiculous. Manly have been pumped by 30 points and Api was the 3rd best player on the park? And Mannah was second?

I know this is all about opinions and we will never agree - but that is ludicrous to be honest. It always amazes me that when we lose - none of our players ever seem to score points. When we win - they always give a consolation point to the opposition. Always.

It was easily his best game and I can see how others would put him among best on ground. He, Matagi & Alvaro all did their jobs (finally) that allowed Moses, Norman & Pritchard to really hammer away at Moanly

You pick the top 10 players on the park and Api doesn’t even get half a point.

We ran at him , he made 48 tackes BUT missed 11 (that’s about 1 in 4 missed tackles) made 2 errors, ran the ball twice.

If anything this match has kissed his origin aspirations well and truly out the door for mine.

Obviously just looked at the 'tackles' column of the stats sheet and thought that 48 tackles alone would be worth a point.

The only times this award has ever been worth anything was when it was won by Hayne and Sterling. Every other time was probably bullshit.
