Another season, another year where Souths fans hype the crap out of their youngsters early in the season and put them on a pedestal that will likely end in disappointment.
Don't get me wrong, Sandow (the kid I wrapped long before any Souths debut as a Titans Academy player with Shannon Walker) and Sutton are very good young players. If both play a full season, they're both going to poll a lot of Dally M points, more so Sandow than Sutton. I say that as I am still not a believer in Sutton. Sure on his day he is great, though he just isn't consistent enough whereas Sandow will be more often than not.
In the pre-season, I nominated Kurt Gidley or Terry Campese to go close in 2009. If our man Scott Prince cannot take the Maroons #7 jersey, he will take some stopping as well.
