I don't think Careny will be there.

Prince, Boyd and Farah will be the top of the tree me thinks

tele crap reckon Benji will be up there....
Shows what they know about the game aye  He started the year well and has done some good things during the year but hardly consistant enough to chalenge for the D M award. Farah could be up there but id say Carney.

Come on guys... it's judged almost solely by News employed journos. Pretty sure they'd be able to put together a fair idea of who is up there.

IMO, Boyd won't have taken too many points since it went behind closed doors. Carney would have taken a few 3s. Farah should win, especially when it comes back to stats. His problem, as always... will be that Benji will regularly take points from him.

Farah and Marshall will both be there. Farah will have a lot of 2 and 1 pointers but not many 3s, although his consistency in polling will have him sitting well. Marshall will probably have half a dozen man of the matches (18 points all up) with a few other points here and there, but not enough to win it.

The tigers have Marshall.Farah and Ellis all competing against each other for points and throw in Rhino and Fulton and it becomes bloody hard to consistently grab enough points to out score a standout player in a average side.
My guess Grub Gallen, he is close to the Sharks best week in and week out.His form over the back end of the season has been top notch so he would have scored big since the media black out of the awards

Well done boys, Farah and Marshall in top 4.

Farah unlucky again, 1 point was a lot closer than most predicted.

Seriously, how far do you have to kick a field goal to win the Peter Frilingos Award?

It was a good try by Hayne which you can see about once a fortnight in the NRL from numerous players. How often do you see a player take two steps and bang one over from past halfway?

Congrats to Robbie. Cant believe he wasn't even nominated for captain of the year.

Beau Ryan is the only Tiger player to be suspended this year... I think Farah got suspended last year though, but that shouldn't count...

He hasn't been suspended this year.

He, Benji & Heighno are the only guys getting the Iron Man award from WT this year I think
