Tongue in cheek comment guys !

Though would have been appropriate / good timing if the England RL team had pipped Australia last week and then again tonight to bring victory to the poms in a comp / tournament involving both Oz and NZ. A first since 1975 !


For God's sake even Italy RU have got in on the act !!!

To be fair, Italy beating the boks in RU is more a symptom of the systemic decline of Bok Rugby. Rugby League is only getting stronger in Australia, whilst it seems to be declining in the UK sadly

The Kangaroos are just the All Blacks of IRL.

We won't see closer matches until the likes of Smith, Thurston, Inglis and Cronk Retire, then you'll start to a shift in the Australian teams performance in international matches against the Kiwis and English.
