Well, this great eight part series has now come to an end, what the hell will I watch now! Haha
Anyway, the swerve at the end with Donna lying through her teeth and employing the cover up techniques used by her politician friends was great. It left you feeling that Donna wasn't any different to the rest of them and that her little 'love story' with Dean was nothing but a heat of the moment, pseudo relationship, that in the long run would never really work.
The dirty police element of the show was cool, Field wasn't lauded as a hero after his murder since he was known as being underhanded in his dealings and his partner ends up being fairly dodgy also, taking the money that was stashed in his car by Lukovic.
Dean still doesn't give a crap, you guess being sent to jail would have changed him a little. The last exchange with his deadbeat dad in the second last show was very well done, with his dad apologising for his poor parenting when it was obviously way too late and Dean was on borrowed time.
Great series, good characters, cool setting!
