People will just label Stuart a whinger, but i do agree with him we get penalised and when the opposition team do it there is no whistle. But ffs we are such a dumb football side.

It's always been the same. The home team usually does get the rub of the green.

No point whinging about it.

We get the same advantage at our home ground.

Well the opposition didn't have Matt Keating chasing a kick when he was 2 metres offside. Or Sandow picking up a Jake Mullaney knock on from an offside position.

The refs are f**king up every game. Their best work was in the origin where there was little impact from the men in the middle.

The refs did not cost is the game. We are just simply a poor club with a terrible roster.

Poor 5th tackle options and some of the defence out there was below NSW Cup level.

Don't understand why Sticky is blaming Ando

They have too much impact on a game, but it's not because of shit refs, but because of the rules.

There is too much referee judgement required in our game. The ruck needs to be taken out of the referees' hands.

I reckon they should let teams wrestle as much as they want but only one marker allowed. And the play-the-ball can be as messy as you like. It just has to touch the ground and roll in a roughly backwards direction; it doesn't even have to touch the foot.

Also, no knock-ons at dummy half.

Because almost every tackle is a potential penalty, and so the refs have to not penalise most tackles. Otherwise they would blow a couple hundred penalties every game.

With all this not penalising at the ref's discretion in nearly every tackle, Sticky believes the refs are not penalising the opposition far more than they are not penalising us.

And I agree with him.

If the refs penalised every penaltly legitimately for a couple of weeks the coaches and teams would have to adjust pretty quickly to the way the refs are going to control the game.

It's not hard.

Refs call movement and pocket refs to the tackler to get off.

They know to make the tackle and get off.

Lazy and stupidness if you ask me and I ref A Grade comp everyweek.

Totally agree with Ricky's comments in the press conference. There were instances today where we were penalised for holding down the tackled player, taking too long to release etc and in the next set souffs were doing the exact same thing yet were not being penalised.

We deserved to lose but the point is that the refs are consistently inconsistent.

Happens most games. Home team gets all the breaks.

Exactly. Even when the refs are telling the defenders to get off the tackled player they are allowing the opposition to hold us down longer before telling them to get off.

Sure we lost the ruck anyway but those merkins are compounding things. There is too much ref's judgement in the game.

I agree with what you are saying Jodeci BUT Ricky does have fair point IMO. Example - Luke Burgess lost the ball cold in the first half and we were penalised for a strip. Souths score from the penalty when we should have had the ball upfield. That s a turning point that should not have been. We still would have lost but it has a huge impact on be game.

The turning point for me was not completing the set after our first try. Then conceding a penalty from that set which led to Souths first try. Then it was a return to the norm.

We're so stuffed. Refs are not to blame for some of the shit we are seeing from our team.

You mean the one he lost cold when Fui reached around and pushed it out ? 50/50 call at best . I'm happy for them to go either way , actually their the ones I'd like to see the video ref have a real quick glimpse at and advise the ref if he gets them wrong .
