Danny Williams 'defence'

I've read in several places that Danny Williams would base his defence on the fact he was concussed at the time he hit Mark O'Neill. A doctor said that a side effect of concussion could be abnormal aggression and that may explain his attack on O'Neill.

Now, my daughter was concussed two years ago and she did display signs of abnormal aggression. However, she spent the better part of two days in hospital as a precaution.

The question I would like to ask is how long did Williams spend in hospital to ensure he was in no danger.


If, in fact, he spent no time in hospital ....... hhmmmm.

Yeah well given that he said to Satts that he did it because Buckets hit him high as he was walking off the field after being sent off I doubt that would hold up - especially since going from tigers officials have been saying he said as he walked into the sheds is along the same lines he has no leg to stand on!

8 Tiger statements from both officials and players have been sent to the NRL about this since the NRL requested it.

Gibbs is just going out on a ledge here, there's no way what he says could actually be taken seriously since he was not there himself to asses Williams. The only one who i'd be listening to is the Melbourne Club doctor who assesed him after he was off the field and he failed to find anything concrete to suggest he was concussed.

That's the bit I find amusing - a has been footballer watches the replays on telly and declares that Williams has some kind of post traumatic disorder, yet Williams' own team doctor could find nothing wrong, at the field, one-om-one with Williams, minutes after the event :?: :roll: Really, my money's on Gibbs' report, that'd have to be more valid :lol:
