Not sure. If he can't win with NSW best not sure he'd do better a club level against 15 other teams

I do think coaching rep teams is very different to coaching club sides.
I don't think his record against a QLD team stacked with immortals is enough to count him out of the running but his lack of experience at club level might be.

He has as much if not more runs on the board as an assistant coach as some of the other names been tossed around.
Apprenticeship under Bellamy & Bennett.
Was a much better player than a lot of the other assistance been tossed around too.. He was a 6 himself .. our halves could do with a bit extra expertise to help then out
Well respected as Origin Coach which could easily attract quality players to the club

Being a good player doesn't always make a good coach in any sport.
I will be honest im not aware of his assistant roles it was before I moved here and I was just going off what I could easily see.

That is the biggest hurdle but would be a huge get if we did.
