How the f**k does Mears look more hungry for a contract renewal than Daz Mighty???

Senter is playing with his typical passion and was extremely strong as we got away to our big lead on sunday!!

Mears came on and had a field-day with a tiring defence - and was clearly motivated by playing his former team - who he has historically had the wood on!!

But his hunger was not there on his kick-off chase against the Storm last week when Orford breezed by him with abject ease!!

Mears has taken his opportunities in attack when presented - but does not offer the leadership or raw aggression that Darren does!!!

 we had this argument this morning actually ;-)

I guess what I was trying to say is that Mearsy has picked up a notch compared to how he has been playing for us over the years knowing he is coming off contract - where as Dazza is playing the same style of game but hasn't picked up his pace (maybe because he dosn't need too ;-) )

 maybe if you stop recommending EVERY good young Balmain kid to the knights ;-)

That's different, I'm allowed to do such things. You can add Hunter and Alberts to that list as well. \\:D/

(I'm sure you're happy to see Dene signed for another two years btw :p )

Yes, I'm over the moon that the near future Kiwi test centre has re-signed with the chop-shop. How's Bronson's re-signing going? June 30 is drawing ever so close. :p
