Darren Smith to play for Broncos

Hands up who could've predicted this. The Courier Mail says today that Easts have released Darren Smith to play a couple of games with the Broncos. Why didn't he just join Toowoomba for pete's sake.

Can't the OLD Cup have any decent players not associated with the friggin NRL?

Do any of you think there is a possibility that Easts and the Donkeys were working together all along? Could the Tigers afford Smith and Renouf off their own back? Could Red hill have seen Stones corner as a better option for these fossils, so as not to dishearten their youngsters playing for Toowoomba?
