What I recoginse is that a gun player, playing for one of the percieved glamour clubs, has been let off with zero NRL punsihment, despite bringing the game into disrepute, whilst other players, from not so glamour clubs seemingly are not afforded the same luxury .

If the NRL Integrity Unit cannot establish that there was any breach, how has he brought the game into disrepute? He was the victim of a scam, a scam that is regularly run over there, he was just unfortunate in that he is more high profile than the usual punters caught up in it.

Put him at a non glamour club like Tigers, Panthers, Titans, Raiders etc. he probably misses half the season and cops a $50k fine.

NAS broke no laws and actually received positive media attention... he cops a ban of 3x international matches.

To be fair, he has to live in Brisbane. I lived there for close to a decade (work & family commitments) you honestly couldn’t pay me an extra 100k per year to live back there.

Cost of living and house prices alone make it a great place for a young family.

The air quality is also fantastic.
