David Peachey Vs Shayne Hayne

Last week us Sharks fans watched in complete disgust as referee Shayne "kettle" Hayne screwed the sharks to a 70 point loss to the Eels. This now also is being recorded as our biggest eva loss sience entering the competition in 36 years ago.

One big question being asked is did David Peachey deserve to be sent off?
There was a report that David Said " your a f**king cheat ".

Whats your opion on the David Peachy case? Dis he deserve to be sent off or does he deserve what he will get this week?

He should not have been sent. Shayne Hayne is just trying to throw his power around and that enormous ego, and it really isn't good for the game. It was simply ridiculous.

It's actually the biggest loss by any team since 1935 - thats almost 70 years.

It shows what an ordinary team the Eels are, they couldn't break the record against ten men. A decent team would have scored over a hundred points.

The sharks entered the comp in 1967. Have never won a premiership and have played in 3 grandfinals (including super league in 1997). They had there biggest loss this pat week, 74-4.
i think there biggest eva win is 64-12 against knights last year

64-14 would have to be in the books as well surely.

Greatest team losses are worked on the margins. There's been lots of 60+ losses but very few 70+ losses.

There's an excellent website called Rugby League tables at: http://cromulent.freehosting.net/rl/rl_index.html which amongst other things, lists the greatest wins and greatest losses of all the teams.

70 points is the highest of the greatest losing margins since 1935.
I'm providing figures from someone else's research.

LOL. I read that in one of those insult books that are on special every Xmas in Angus and Robertsons. Try and be more original next time.

Hayne did not screw you guys by 74 points!. Wake up, the score was 34 - 4 when all of this happened. I think Parra would of scored at least 50 so he probably screwed you guys by 20 points. but than again Peachey deserved what he got.

Screw the google fight, the real one was better....

Peachey marched 10 - Hayne 1 - Peachey 0
Peachey sin binned - Hayne 2 - Peachey 0
Peachey sent off - Hayne 3 - Peahey 0
Hayne dropped to prem league - Hayne 3 - Peachey 1
Peachey suspended season over - Hayne 4 - Peachey 1

Hayne wins with a K'O at the judicary taking the fight 4 - 1

from a sharks fan to eels fans

you guys won fair and square

deep down inside us sharks fans know peachey deserved to be sent

parra played very well

the sharks lost the plot

the reff was crap - but wouldnt have made any difference to the win/loss situation

in a nutshell parra had a better season than the sharks

good luck to parra for the rest of the season and for 2004

now can we all get on with our lives?

It may not mean much, but millersnose, you have just won my respect.

For this post alone, I am now about to remove the Eels-Sharks scoreboard from my sig.
