Warner is great, I love the way he plays.

Yep the way he plays is fantastic. No argument there.

But the other stuff in that outburst and a couple of bogans here is pretty distasteful. Thankfully most Australians are not similarly afflicted

Did Warner kick Martin Crowe's dog or something? The poor bloke has an article on Cricinfo and it reads as though he was weeping while writing it

Lol nice find El D.

We'll he has no life, so not surprising

It is rude if one can speak the other language but in this context isn't rudeness or being annoying the goal?

Not sure looking like a racist bogan is though??? That's the problem with some Australian sledgers, when someone gets the upper hand they resort to this sort if thing.

Like it or not Warner and Australia are the common denominator in many of these incidents and many are tired if it, and commenting critically on the obvious hypocrisy isn't taking cheap shots at all .

Warner might also do well to understand that he could make a lot of money in India if he's not a merkin

bloke hurls insults in another language, gets asked to do so in English, bloke who made the request gets fined.

What was dickwit saying in Hindi? Seems unfair to fine a player for demanding that the person hurling vitriol his way have enough guts to do so in a way that he'll understand.

India have the right to speak Indian.

Warner doesn't ordinarily have the right to tell them to speak English, but if they're directing abuse at him in Indian, then I suppose it's fair enough for him to ask them to speak to him in English.

But seriously…Warner is always in the thick of this sort of controversy.

He's been campaigning against sledging for sometime now. Since Hughes' death?not sure I see a connection between the two, but however. Crowe's earned the right to speak.

Indians are allowed to do anything

no punishment for crowds or players being racist and calling Symonds a monkey

I don't see how anyone was "gutless" in this. Warner accuses him of something that's not true. Dharma responds in his language. Warner asks him to say it in english. Dharma responds with the insult in English.

But I still stick with what I said earlier. Warner is a dickhead.

Warner didn't accuse him of anything, he asked if the ball deflected off his pads and Sharma responded in Hindi

I don't think they do anymore. On field talk has progressed to the point where what is said on the field is monitored and punished. If that's the case, surely the use of a universal language needs to be enforced.
