Get rid of Morris and bring in 2 ex-rep players in Nielsen and Williams.

Geez how much money did BMoz really want, to stay at the club? Better still, how much is he getting at the Dogs if Saints can afford these 2 to replace him?

I don't think Nielson (and maybe eventually David Williams) would be on too much. The club should have learnt its lesson in the signing of Beale, Farrell, etc. on overs.

My feel would be that Nielson is on around the $200k-$250k mark and Williams would be a bit less. Neither player (much like our crop of new signings) are in high demand.

My concern is that we already have 36 players in our sqaud. Some of these players are bright young players who could turn out to be fabulous first graders. These players could be crowded out by the likes olf Neilson and Williams.

I very much favour the idea of bringing on our talanted juniors while at the same time, replacing good players we lose with players of the same/better standard from outside the Club.

In my opinion our Club has got into this mess mainly because we did not replace outgoing players with players of a similar standard. e.g over the past few years we;

Lote did ok at 35 at the bunnies. If, I mean IF, we somehow sneak into the bottom 8, his experience out wide could be invaluable.

Yes, we are really bad at succession planning. The writing was on the wall after the 2011 season. In reality, that's when we really needed Bennett to tap some older players on the shoulder and tell them to retire whilst also managing replacements and/or bring through the right juniors.

Its like he came for dinner, but left just before it was time to clean up the dishes!
