atmosphere feels better at a day game whereas atmosphere is better at night out at campbelltown and this is reflected crowd wise.

sunday day games are great crowd wise for us at leichhardt with a 17000 average of the 3 day games compared to 6000 versus storm

whereas at night at cambelltown we have drawn 18000 and 16400 crowds against dogs and roosters compared to 8000 and 13000 crowds during the day against broncos and canberra.

It aint the grounds or day time or nite time....its the opposition, simple as that.

It costs the club too much money for us to host night games.

I suggest our night games are away matches and we play day games at home.

I like the idea of playing day games at Leichhardt , night games at Campbelltown and instead of six games, maybe just 2-3 games at telstra. Seriously though, i still havent heard(maybe i just missed it) wheather we made money on the game against Parramatta at LO ?

We did make money at that game and for the 1st time this year we are actually clear of the Red and look like having our best year regarding game day profits

On the day/night idea it wouldn't be a bad idea and I guess if the WTS felt the same way they could always do what Melbourne and the Sharks have done and approach the NRL for games on particular days at particular venues.

See the key really is to play the right games at the right venues, and then of course you work out what games draw the biggest crowds from there - its all well to say we will play this game here and there but it really is a bit hard until the draw has been drawn up and issued to the respective clubs to sort out and get back to the NRL inregards to playing venues

Night games at Campbelltown lose us money just like Leichhardt. Even with a record crowd we just broke even, depending on how you do the accounting.

yes Innsaneo the opposition do have a big bearing on the crowd figure but what is disappointing is that its our fans who don't turn up either. There were not a huge amount of Manly or Parra fans at LO when we played them earlier this year. That means our fans turned out in droves but then didn't bother when we played Melbourne. Souths had a few yesterday but it was still a very dominant WT crowd. My question is where are these people when we play the Storm, Canberra etc? Hopefully they will be there for the Cowboys game but i have a feeling that depends on where we're sitting on the ladder if you know what i mean..
