He's playing for the cutters. Vea and Gower are not.
Do you think this is form related? He's does seem to be struggling a bit with the step up. Also has had some injury worries. Interesting move from price.

No biggie. He's as raw as.. Good man-management.

He is very raw. Perfect example as to why we need reserve grade back. Toyota cup to NRL is too big of a jump for most players to handle.

Excited to see Vea run around. I think he could be what we're missing.

Thought he was about as good as any other forward in the squad, but with someone young like that im happy with whatever Price wants to do.. lot of development left in him yet.

He was good in the earlier games, but recently has been off the pace and a little gun shy. Noticed him vomiting before the game against cowboys.

I think the tide is turning on the reserve grade issue. So much pressure on these young guys to peak early its not funny. Look at Everingham (?) from Souths: debuted at 25.
Also undermines club culture when players are virtually farmed out to "feeder" clubs.
I say bring back the three tier formula played on the same day/location. Stuff what the groundsmen think!

Well did he play well? A drew with Canterbury was a good result for the cutters. Also good to see Cameron King back, did he get through the game injury free?

There is a good summary of the game and players on page one of this thread.

EDIT - oops, I think it is in the thread on Jubilee

very hard for a forward to come from toyota cup and play every first grade game. he needs to freshen up a bit - looked off the pace the last few games, i think also carrying an injury...
i dont have a problem with forward rotation on the bench if the first preference looks a bit stale..

Yes indeed, but it will be a tough little period here if Creagh/Merrin are in Origin, Scott injured, and Prior Suspended, the forward stocks will be quite stretched..
