De Vere's status

I know De Vere is off-contract this year. Have you guys re-signed him? If not, are you confident of his retention?

I haven't heard anything about his re-signing. Theres still a few weeks before the June 30 deadline. We've retained Meyers, Parker and Carlaw. Civoniceva wants to test himself on the open market but the club is confident he'll stay. The Tigers are now targeting Prince.
We've also got Berrigan, Swain, Ryan, Lee, Kelly, and Irwin coming off contract. They won't be able to realistically keep everyone. I think Prince will be the first to go.

Brisbane would be crazy not to resign him.

He is just one of those players who would be snapped up straight away.

If they do resign him they deserve a round of applause. =D>

Yes Saint Firman, Broncos would be crazy not to sign him, but he would be first on our list to sign. And I'm pretty sure he will. Civoniceva will test the market, but I'm confident he will stay.

TheROCK, what about the Cowboys. Do you think he is a chance of going to North Qld next year? They would be a contender with Civo and Norton in the team. A very strong side indeed.

I for one am pleased Carlaw, Meyers and Parker have all signed new deals. I think Berro will stay, and so will Prince. Can't see either leaving, Kelly looks rather settled on the wing and in fine form, he'll stay as well I think.

Irwin and Ryan will probably leave, and I think so will Lee. Petero may leave I just hope if he does he goes to the Cowboys, would be great if he did. In fact I hope Petero does actually leave and head north. Not because he is a bad player, I think he's great, but signing Norton and Petero would be great for the Cowboys. They could even make a play for Lee.

The Cowboys would be where he would go if he left. That's what I reckon. But hopefully he wont.
