This is a great talented youngster who I believe deserves a crack at the Premier League. He's already scored 19 goals in First Division for Crewe.

If he gets into a decent Premier League club I believe that he can make the England team in at least two years, maybe even less.

To be honest I'd rather see Liverpool buy him then go after Morientes, because we know he can play the English game, it wouldn't be too much of a move for him from Crewe to Liverpool and I think he would jump at the chance to play for Liverpool because I think he supported them as a kid.

What do all you guys think of him

btw. I've used him in all my Liverpool sides in Championship Manager and he's turned out well

Ashton seems to be a striker who does need a star studded attack to help him out, in fact the Crewe midfield looks average at best and he's scored 19 goals this season.
