Halatau will never be a skillful footballer. Although there are non skilled footballers right across the NRL. Halatau was actually more effective then Collis at centre in a number of games. Says a bit about the way the game is being played these days.

Halatau is a very limited player but he managed to do a decent job by running hard and having some great defensive games at centre. Collis is a better player however he had far less impact, injured or not he needs to demand a bit more ball.

Halatau handy bloke to have in 17 man squad,no skill but gives a 100% . A product of modern day football, no skill and no error football. Collis has the skill but also has the error. Maybe with a injury free year we might start to see the Collis that used to destroy every team when playing for the maggies in reserve grade.

I always thought Collis looked better in first grade in early '06 when he basically our only effective player.

halatau is a very average nrl player. he is really only usefull as a dummyhalf runner when we have had four big hit ups. i.e never over the past 3 years.

he is way too one dimensional. everytime he gets the ball he puts the head down and runs straight. theres been plenty of times when at center we had a try with a simple draw and pass for the winger that he was unable to achieve.

to be effective as an nrl player he really needs to develop some sort of vision, offload or passing game.
