Please retain Mullen. Dropping Mullen for Orford, Kimmorley or any other fruitloop will only be a step in the wrong direction. Hes young, hes learning, he will start to dominate alot more in club games from his SOO experience. Im afraid of our Knights V Manly match up now. Mullen is the type of player that scares me to play up against. If you are going to drop anyone. Drop Murray.

That c**k-wrench has given Hindmarsh 200mins football out of 320mins available since he started coaching NSW, hes an idiot.

Viva la Mullen

You have no clue.

You are a known Orford hater. You are more afraid of Orford having success than of Manly losing.

Monas is gone man. Let it go. Orford is here to stay. At least you still have Choc.

I have no idae what the NSW selectors will do, but I think they should retain Mullen, most other options are a step backwards

CharlieF, I made this thread because I see Mullen as NSW's future, hes young and better than Orford, Kimmorley and Gower. Why bring up my dislike my Orford in a thread about Mullen?

Other NSW fans actually want to see NSW win this Origin series. Just because you think its a good idea try things out, whilst we let the other "fruitloops" who already know how to play halfback, sit on the sideline watching.

Now,back to why I mentioned your dislike of Orford. Firstly, do you think Orford is better than Mullen?

Because I already know your answer, I will ask you if you knew that Orfords stats are actually better than Mullens this year, even though Orford missed 4 games?

You may or may not have known that, but regardless, you will discount them purely because you hate him. Now how do you come up with an unbiased view of Mullen, when you won't even allow yourself to compare him to Orford because your hate of him always gets in the way, ALWAYS.

Therefore, your opinion is biased.

current form .. Mullen > Orford

Lol I dont hate Orford, I just beleive Monaghan is the better option at #7 for Manly, just as I beleive Mullen is the best option for NSW #7. And that has nothing to do with the fact I played school footy with him and played against him locally

Fair enough, but do you honestly think he is is the best current NSW halfback??

Thats all the selectors have to answer. You can drop Mullens now. It won't kill him They did it to Watmough a couple of years back and he did absolutley nothing wrong. What will f**k Miullen up is if the selectors persist and QLD have a 3nil series whitewash.

Is he the future for NSW? If he is, then he can wait.

what NSW halfback is a better option than Mullen?

Orford, Kimmorley, Monaghan.

I'm not going to go over why again, but base it on what you saw last night firstly, then the fact all three that I have mentioned have more try assists than Mullen and also that their respective teams are in the top 3. Add to this that these guys have been doing it for longer than Mullen and have all had finals experience and rep experience at some level.

Not sure about you, but if you still come up with Mullen, then I give up.

Orford and Kimmorley are both old and it is a negative move selecting either
in fact it is a negative move removing Mullen

I cannot really complain about the selection of Monahan, but I seriously doubt it will happen

Orford cracks under pressure. Kimmorley's the biggest failure at representative level currently doing the rounds. The only guy of the three I'd like to see leading NSW around the park is Monaghan, and he's off to England, so his representative career is already over.

Not sure what is more negative. Removing Mullen or Losing the series.

The only reason it is perceived as negative is because the selectors would have to acknowledge that they f**ked up. And also because it would demoralise Mullen. But it will be a lot more demoralising and negative for him if it is 3-0.

We will see in 4 weeks time if my assumptions are correct if they continue to persist with Mullen. I'm quite confident from what I saw, he will have no impact at all in SOO this year. The only negative move that Mullens removal would bring is for QLD. He has been talked up more than anything else and everyone fell for it. Before Mullen was picked, 90% of people on this forum never believed he should have made it (check the posts for proof). It appears that people now just want to retain him so that we don't hurt his feelings.

He has the talent to do well in SOO. You can't seriously judge his performance for years to come on his DEBUT match.

What is the point of putting Kimmorley or someone in... He probably won't do much better than Mullen and that isn't building for the future at all. Mullen is young, it seems stupid to put someone who's on their way out in to build for NSW's future..

Next 5 - 10 years results >>>> This years

Stick with Mullen. He'll be much better now that he knows what it's all about. Orford and/or Monaghan would be making their Origin debuts too if we picked them and Kimmorley is just not THAT much better that Mullen should be dropped.
