so we've had a pretty dismal start to the season, but let's not get too disappointed

competing isn't about winning or losing, it's about showing the most guts. it's about not sacrificing the gift. so let's get out there and make some beautiful posts next round. let's make people stop and say "i've never read a post like that before". this is more than just a competition, it's a style. for these last few rounds let's be better than everyone else. let's be creative. if we lose by forcing the pace all the way, at least we'll be able to live with ourselves

i'm hearing what the people on other teams are saying: "you're too inconsistent, pirates", "you're wasted talent, pirates", "give up your foolish dream, coos bay". but they forgot something, WE HAVE TO WIN
