The Eels open the scoring through winger Santiago Uata. Eels earned back to back sets on the Manly line from a line drop out. The ensuing set sees the Eels spread the ball from side which pays dividends as Cyrus Bloomfield gets on the outside of his man to put Uata over in the corner.

A nice quick play the ball from Polley sees Risati take it to the line where he plays a lovely inside ball to Riley Davis who screams into the backfield. In what’s become a common occurrence Davis draws the fullback and finds a flying McCloskey to do the rest.

My man McCloskey has saved another try this time somehow getting across in cover to tackle his opposite winger and forcing a double movement.
