I will you stupid f***wit.

OK this thread is going nowhere fast. Pointless exercise in futility.

It's done for now unless one of your mods wants it open.

OK,
I have re opened the thread.

El and termy,
I know neither of you will agree with this, but I believe you two clash because you are both similar characters, and you are both far too quick to take offence and far too quick to retaliate.

If I were coaching a football team with you two in it i'd put you both in a boxing ring and tell you to sort it all out before you stepped out of the ring.

I know you guys clash on sight, and i think it will go on happening for a while, so i say get stuck in and get over it.

Use this thread to either tear strips off each other till you have had enough, or both just decide that you don't like each other but have to live together. Either way, you should sort the problem out so you can both live with whatever compromise suits both of you.

Either fight to the death or learn to ignore each other.

League Correspondant reports that the police are closing in on an arrest for the death threats against the coach, captain and Bill Harrigan the referee.

While nothing is confirmed as to a suspect, apparently the phone calls were traced and police are investigating - maybe an arrest in the next couple of days.

It is a positive outcome, provided the culprit is found and charged, in what is an unsavoury incident. The threatening of players and coaches is simply not on, and I also think of the referee who already has 20,000 people screaming that they're going to kill him each game.

I will always read these incidents through coloured eyes - that of a sports official. It will hurt the game, and there seems little concern in the rugby league community about the long-term outcome.

The idiot must get a life long ban from all NRL matches and beyond if necessary, as well as a jail sentence.

as well as a jail sentence.

A gaol sentence certainly, it probably could be classified as 'terrorism', or an act of 'terror' - I think you should get one of those gaol sentences too Termy, for that atrocious spelling.

You spell the word 'gaol' that way again and I'll be sending you more than death threats. ;-)

Sorry, Original_Chook, but I prefer the American usage of the word, the English one looks like its pronounced as something you score in a game of soccer, or should be pronounced Gay-0l.
Usually I loathe Americanisms, but this one makes more sense sorry.

Well I for one won't be resorting to Americanisation of my language. The fact our media has adopted jail sets a worrying precedent of things to come - will we one day have 'colonization' or indeed 'color' permeating out language? I hope not. It may make sense, but it detracts from our own cultural identity in my opinion. I'm not American, so why should I spell like they do?
It would be like me deciding that I like the way China write, and therefore adding the odd chinese symbol to my posts - this is not far-fetched, that is afterall what you're doing - you're mixing languages here Termy...messing with big things. ;-)

I treat Lanquages like drinks, I mix a few words in here and there.
I'm not very fond of Asian Lanquages or symbols in fact the only thing I like is their food, dead first of course, not into their live juices thing.
Our language has just about been buried twenty years ago anyway, when did you last hear someone say stone the crows?
Sad but thats the history we live in.

Did anyone see the Amazing Race last week, when the two gay guys ate squid that was cut up on a plate, but still moving?! Eeeuuch!

They have serious mental problems in this area of cullinary I'm afraid.
In Thailand and Malaysia you can eat the brains out of a live monkey that has its head stuck through a hole in the table, it then has the top part of its skull removed, you are then handed a fork and the salt and pepper.
Bon appetit!

Live monkey? That's gross. However I think Caucasian people are also guilty of eating fairly grotty things. Like lamb's brains and osso bucco (I think that's something kind of gross anyway). Not sure what else.

Well I have to agree with El D on THIS one.. Termi - Usually you have a good sense of humour... El D said NOTHING offensive and you got stuck into him, just like others did in a thread to BIHK Including the immarture moderator Antonious - you know that guy that has kids he cant spend time with because he is olways posting stuff he claims to be an authority on..

El D was always polite and non abusive - so lay off him and grow up - Or I will ask our moderators to have YOUR user name banned. I have learnt to be diplomatic - so why dont you?

Yes, but the lambs brains and osso bucco isnt wiggling in agony as we eat it, just thought I'd point out that minor technicality to you. :D
