OK - which pinhead put that Flash animation on the Jets home page?
Sure - it's neat the very first time you see it, and I'm glad the Jets can make a quid from something we all pay for anyway.
BUT!!! I now have to run my PC with the sound disabled OR change my homepage. I don't want to have to do that, but what other choice do I (and, I suspect, dozens of others) have?
If I HAVE to be assailed with a sound every time I open an IE browser, I'd rather it was at least "13 Men All Dressed In Blue" or something. But the answer is to P*SS THE SOUND OFF!!!!
I estimate we'll soon lose ALL the people who currently have http://www.newtownjets.com set as their homepage. Now that'd be a GREAT result - not!
Can someone speak to the people responsible and pass on my (I think very legitimate) concerns?
