Why do a lot of our players, especially our backs, have some of the sh*ttiest and most ineffective defence in the game.
I'm getting sick and tired of this grabbing at a player bullsh*t. Benji is the worst.
One thing I don't like seeing in defence is the grabbing a players shoulders and then falling backward hoping the player comes down with you.
So many issues can come from this, injuries, fast play the balls for the opposition, attackers able to get off-loads away, our defence having players lying around the play-the-ball and giving away simple and stupid penalties.
Not to mention it is also one of the easiest types of tackles to break out of.
When will our players, especially backs learn to tackle properly, until they do, we will continue to leak points. For a team with almost twice as many wins as losses, our for and against differential should be significantly higher.
But it's almost bloody even.
This, more than anything, will cause us major grief over the coming weeks if it isn't rectified.
If our defence was better, the Cowboys would have struggled to score two tries, Benji's goalkicking woes wouldn't have mattered at all.
