It would be kind of ironic if Jimmy G replaces Brady much like Brady replaced Bledsoe when he got injured and kicked off another period of domination.

It came up a lot when Spygate was in the headlines that the Pats have some guy up in the skybox and working for them during the week who actually is a genius. It was being suggested that he was the type of guy that could take illegally obtained information and tell you what plays were going to be ran before they were ran. Can't remember his name, but I am sure you could find the stories with a google search.

EDIT: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernie_Adams_(American_football)

http://nypost.com/2015/01/30/the-belichick-crony-who-secretly-runs-black-ops-for-patriots/

yeah, ernie adams. he apparently has a photographic memory. when the opposition set up for a play he would remember exactly which play they were gonna run and relay it to brady. and they had an extra mic in brady's helmet so he could talk to him right up until the ball was snapped.

another thing they would do was scramble the opposition's audio reception so the linbacker/qb couldn't hear what the coaches were telling them. so they would have to use hand signals. so then ernie knew exactly what they were doing and relay it to brady/lber. this is where all that taping came in handy. and why they have a home record that is impossibly good.

We play in a pretty terrible division for years, that's why the Home record is so great, the Playoff record t home is something like 4-3.... hardly a massive advantage. I think Chelsea in the EPL, has lost once or twice at home in 6 years under Mourinho, so thats something like 80+ and 2, where as the Pats are 37 - 9

like i have always said, why did Brady have his best years after"Spygate"

Plenty have said as much: Pittsburgh, Philly, Karlos Dansby...

Brady had his best year with Randy Moss and insane pass pro. Throwing up bombs when leading 35-0 also helped.

Great that after all the song and dance that Kraft did, he ends up capitulating and accepting the punishment

I wonder if Bradys going to take it to court... and get an injunction.

Edit- Interesting that the NFL have gone directly to court to get them to uphold the decision

I really don't know what that will ultimately do in the whole scheme of things because it won't stop him from going to court.

One thing I know this whole mess has done is forever tarnished Bradys image. Could effect his chances of being a first round ballot HOF selection. In fact it should, I know if was a member of the selection panel I would make the worm squirm a lot of years.

Just shows you pretty boys like Brady can be cheats.

My assistant Jack Daniels and I actually destroy a cell phone every four months or so. Usually just the screen but I get it.

In a way, this is all pretty smart from Shady Brady. Admit nothing. Deny everything through your agent, even say you don't know the equipment guys. Common sense says you are 100% guilty BUT in five years no one will care or remember aside from Colts, Broncos and Ravens fans. He can also use it as extra motivation to win another ring which will well and truly make people forget this.

He will be a first ballot HOFer for sure. No doubt about that.

People will stop caring about it once the football gets started.

http://nesn.com/2015/07/ravens-owner-steve-bisciotti-denies-trying-to-influence-tom-brady-decision/

“(By potentially reducing the suspension) you’re angering some of the hard-core owners out there,” Paolantonio reported. “I know who they are and I’m gonna name ’em right now: Jim Irsay of the Colts, Steve Bisciotti of the Ravens and others in the AFC who believe the Patriots have gotten away with murder for years and have not been publicly punished properly.”

The guy from the ravens is complaining about people getting away with murder.
