He's obviously posting from somewhere in the US, or someone is on his behalf — in which the timestamp is "in the future", where he is living hours ahead. Considering he has contact with nutjobs from there, I reckon that could be the case.

A mate of his had made tens of thousands of $$ on the cup over the last few years he said. The prices for the horses he names drop enormously when he picks them I was told. He did it through looking at the breeding of the horses and the position of the stars in the moments before gates open or some such. My mates generally not a crackpot, so I went ahead and put $50 on the horse I was given as he was doing the same. Given that my method for picking in the Cup revolved around who had the most interesting looking jumper I figured it it wouldn't make much difference.

Needless to say the pathetic f**king animal finished last or close to.

You (and others) may find this show by Derren Brown interesting (it's an hour show split in 6 parts on YouTube). I'd highly recommend anything by him actually.
