can anyone comment on the status of league in Denver? saw an interesting post on facebook -

Thanks to everyone who has supported the efforts of the Denver Wolverines as we have tried to establish Rugby League in Colorado. I (Jeff Eberle) am resigning from my leadership role effective immediately and leaving the team. Best of Wishes to the Wolverines in whatever path they choose. Thanks Again for all of the support! I hope someone else is willing to take over. Looks like they have already made a little leeway this year.

Basically what has happened is that the Players at the Denver club decided they want to go to Union.

Jeff, being a League man, did not want this and so resigned. He is now in the process of setting up a new Rugby league team ... well after a well earned break.

I believe its in Denver, but not the same name.

I have messaged them and they continue to insist they are aiming to play League in the Summer and become a fully fledged Dual Code Club. If Jeff does manage to set up another side it may be a real opportunity to establish a small comp in the area.

Right, I see... Jeff wanted a purely League Team not a dual code one, so thats why he has left them i believe.
