Whats to happen to those ending in 2009?

Lazarus- unknown, but WT cant afford another injury prone season. Bye.
Dunley- unknown, but may as well go- Teflon has not given him a shot.
Tagive- rumours to Canberra or Saints.
Collis- rumours to Canterbury or Souths.
Morris- unknown- ESL / re-signed with WT? Teflon rates him.
Payne- unknown
Halatau- rumours to Souths- especially if Wing goes to Parra.
Trimarchi- rumours to Souths
Galea- unknown but I hope WT make him an offer.
Hanbury- unknown
Gallant- unknown, but may as well go- Teflon has not given him a shot.
Skandalis- unknwon but think 09 will his last hurrah.
Mataka- unknown but I hope WT make him an offer.

Still scratching my head trying to figure out the contract extension given to Ayshford- big call with only 3 appearances and average only skills shown.

Gibbs (till 2012) may be hinted at to look elsewhere and WT would look favourably on an early release.

Lazarus- has been unlucky, i would keep him. by all reports he was well in the running for a first grade spot before his injury.
Dunley- the only natural halfback in the 25. he obviously isnt going to get a run, may aswell release
Tagive- keep, piss of ryan if need be.
Collis- never understood the collis hate, he is class. we've seen what happens when he's out. halatau, ayshford, moltzen and hanbury havent come close to him
Morris- dont let the door hit you on the way out!
Payne- considering im one of his biggest baggers this may sound odd, but id be happy to keep him on a smaller contract
Halatau- see morris, this bloke has been wasting space since the dragons semi in 05
Trimarchi- a good depth player, keep him if he's happy to play that part
Galea- should be our number 13, keep
Hanbury- not fussed
Gallant- not going to get a run, not in the top 25 anyway
Skandalis- good fill in but no thanks
Mataka- good hole runner, keep him on

I would be surprised if Gibbs went elsewhere. He is on good money at the Tigers, there is not other club in the NRL that will offer as much and I can't see Bryce taking a pay cut. His only option would be the UK.

Thats exposes exactly the problem WT fell into - taking a punt on a 'up and comer' back in 07, sign him to a long term contract (2012 for crissakes) on the strength of his promise and now, when that promise is not all that could be expected,- we have an underperforming player in a key positon soaking up large amounts of scarce money and the club unable to punt him unless its own Gibbs terms.

With all due respect, Skando will never become anything like Steve Price. He makes half the metres Price does, and has never worn an Australian or State jumper.

I am a Magpies tragic and big Skando fan, but even I know that it would be a farce if Skando is still playing first grade for the Tigers next year.

the only reason i would skandalis is cause atm hes doing the little things right and is also making more metres than most our forwards
and hes a decent backup until most our props are ready in u20s
