So Lenaz has left 2 clubs after winning player of the year? Matt Arthur might have been an ungrateful little shit who was given advantages others don't get, but there's no doubt he can play. BA didn't pick him for NSW 19's.

MA is crafty. Great little attacker. Nore skill then Hands.
But defense wise Hands and R.Smith a powerfully built men. They can handle 120kgs beasts running at them.
MA needs to get a lot bigger to be any chance physically to handle NRL I think. If does im sure he'll be good. If doesn't then he will fizzle

This isn't the best comparison, as Grant was sitting behind C Smith and B Smith, but he played 40 cup games and a season at the tigers before the Storm played him.
Probably the truest thing said on this forum. They had Cam and Brandon Smith. You don’t think Harry Grant would’ve got a run earlier if it was Joey fkn Lussick infront of him? :D

As I said, Rylesy obviously likes what he’s seen in the trials and probably more importantly at training. Looking forward to him getting a run.

Oh the narrative. How about lower grade coaches telling the father’s of young up and coming hookers that they need to leave the club because they will never get the starting hooking role whilst Brad Arthur is the coach.

Just speculation? Or is it a dad making shit up? Mate that guy was a f**king cancer and the fact that he fluked a GF appearance continued the suffering for a further 2 years.
Who were these young up and coming hookers? How many of them have NRL contracts now?

Well, we've still got Smith, Hands and young Coinakis, I think we lost Lenaz who has not exactly torn it up at another club. Sounds like not much harm done (to hookers at least)
What are the odds of a club having two hookers with NRL potential in the same age group? History shows that fewer than half the clubs even have one future NRL dummy half in a given age group, but we’re supposed to believe all these gun junior hookers were being overlooked (by us and the other 15 NRL clubs) because of Arthur family nepotism.

Isn't Smith and Boods around the same age?

Lenaz was Manly’s Flegg player of the year straight after winning ours. Now he is at the Cowboys playing for the Pride. What did you expect him to do?
How about when both Lenaz and Ryley Smith were stuck behind Ivan Cleary's son Matthew Rossetto in the Penrith Harold Matts team!

Yeah Josh Hodgson was a great signing no harm was done there in the dummy half department.

Then we brought Joey Lussick back from England after Hodgson lasted half a season to be another stop gap for a couple of years.

All because we had this supposed gun coming through the ranks at dummy half that was the coaches son and the next cameron smith.

If it was any other club we would all be pissing ourselves laughing at the stupidity of it
How about when we brought Hands and Ryley Smith to the club who were both older than Matt Arthur?

To be fair the Knights were trying to ship Brailey off before the preseason then decided they needed to keep him.and are now happy to ship him again
They weren't going to re-sign him (perhaps because they have a replacement lined up) and thought they could clear some cap space by letting him go a year early. They couldn't get any takers to clear the amount of cap space to make it worth it, so they kept him for the final year of his contract.
