I have it on very good advice that the concert has been postponed until November.

Words cant describe the pain im feeling right now!!!!

it was just announced on radio that the last 10 legs of the tour have been postponed, maybe cancelled, due to an issue with a band members close relative

U2 has postponed their Australian and New Zealand tour dates.

The Next Adventure and Michael Coppel have announced that the final 10 dates of U2's Vertigo tour have been delayed.

"This action is unavoidable due to the illness of an immediate family member of one of the band," it was announced in a statement today.

"Any fan of U2 will realise that this decision has not been taken lightly," said TNA President Arthur Fogel. "We will announce further details as soon as we have them."

The affected shows - which are all sold out are:

March 17 & 18: Auckland, Ericcson Stadium
March 21, Brisbane, Queensland Sports Centre
March 24 & 25, Melbourne, Telstra Dome
March 28, Adelaide, AAMI Stadium
March 31 & April 1, Sydney, Telstra Stadium
April 4, Yokohama, Nissan Stadium
April 8, Honolulu, Aloha Stadium

I'll go out on a limb and say he's going ahead.

Hows I got premium seats just back from the stage in the alcohol allowed section for the Stones.

I have a Visa card so I got them a week before the rest of the public through some visa card deal.



I did it all from my desk at work...too easy.

I heard the news pretty early on from a reliable source in QLD and he mentioned that the new date for the QLD show is Nov 6.

I'm not sure if this is 100% confirmed but i'd be surprised if it's not true.

I heard this too on Tripple M. At first i thought i was a gee up then changed radio stations and heard the same thing. I'm so disapointed, not because they postponed their tour due to a family illness but because i just got myself a little too excited about the concert only being less then two weeks away.
