I really enjoyed it, I don't agree with people who say it was slow, I thought the speed was unbelievable. Play-the-balls were not that quick, but fair enough, both teams defended very well, gang tackling. Line speeds were very fast, extremely tight defenses, few line break opportunities. Cam Smith was electric with his distribution and option taking. Apart from a couple of unforced errors I loved the game.

Being at the game is always better, I thought it was a cracker apart from the slow holding down.

I never find Origin games boring.

And I had $5 on Jennings for the last try so it was pretty good for about 90 seconds.

If you are referring to me, Mate, I'm NSW country. I just live in NZ at the moment. I've been to heaps of SOO games in the 80's. I got caught in the hype back then too. Few years out of Oz and I don't get it. Its almost, Aussie rulesish......mind you, they did invent the concept, RL just copied it.

I wasn't referring to you, that original comment of mine was at the other kiwi. As for the rest of your post all i can say is......wow, such a stupid statement.

Haha remind me when was the last time you won one of those that actually mattered?

We won this year didn't we? Either way, doesn't really concern me, test matches dont do much for me. If Australia took it as serious as origin we'd win by 50. It's just a novelty event really.

I thought that the scoreboard flattered NSW.They played badly enough to have been 20 points behind at full time. They hung on well enough to get away with the loss that they suffered.

It was nothing to congratulate each other over.Gallen was correctly aghast at his performance.Other NSW players who crowed about how they were going to stamp their mark upon the game were left swinging for no result. There were NSW brain explosions one after another from experienced rep players.

The good thing about the 'close' result is that NSW will be telling themselves that they are good enough to get the series win,all they need to do is to get to Sydney.I hope they also decide that they weren't dishing-out enough 'biff'.Tommy for assistant coach.

Does Benny call for a NSW clean sweep every year?I think that NSW'll get one, just like last year. :D

jesus christ some of you are dull and neative. That was a very good game to watch, the last 15 minutes in particular were edge of your seat stuff.

i think people have to stop looking for everything possible to go into a single game for it to be considered good. e.g: big hits, exciting/adventurous plays, little ref interference, fights, 'origin moments', both teams playing to their potential etc etc etc

i think some people have gotta realise that we simply cannot get all the things that we think are required for a great game into one single game.

(NSW fan btw)
