Hayne will be our only player picked for Australia, But Fui and INU must be a chance for the Kiwi's.

Caylo's retired from internationals.

Fuifui has been named in the NZ eligible squad and should make a run on 17. Inu I don't think will make the cut.

And if he doesnt perform?

Apparently he played yesterday.... Haven't heard anyone raving about his performance yet though...

I wouldn't be worrying about yesterday, considering it was his first game in 18 weeks or something.

I'd be waiting until the finals anyways. That's the real test and that's where the real players show they can handle it.

Hunt, Stewart, Slater and Boyd are all either incumbents or recent "automatic selections" who are playing fullback in the finals. With the other finals teams you have Sammut who is no chance, Gidley as the 14, Campbell/Zillman who are no chance and Patten who is probably no chance even though he would not shame anyone.

So I'd basically wait and see which of those that have an actual chance stand up. The squad isn't picked until after the GF and in my opinion the only automatic selections would be Lockyer, Thurston and Smith with Civinoceva there if he is able to play.

The rest of the spots should be up for grabs and chosen from those who show form, with preference for stand out finals performances.

Hayne will be there and Hindy should be brough in esp if we go close to winning the comp. Someone like Mannah could be taken for the experiance and Reddy, Burt or even Grothe would be an outside chance. I think Inu and Fui will be picked in the NZ 17 esp if we go deep into the finals. Inu recent good form may put him back in the hunt for a wing centre or even fullback spot.
