yeah I don't think we have seen the full extent of how bad the referring team can be. Could be surviving their worst for the semi's

Do what they do on Anzac Day and get replacement family members who weren't there at the time to take their place

would they have to swap the nrl and club badges so the club badge wasn't over the heart like on anzac day? would make a unique, collectible jersey.

Footy was much better back then.

I remember this too. Billy Dunn always reminded me of the Wests Magpies mascot.

What about when Graham Annesley awarded Kerrod Walters a try when he clearly bounced the ball over the line basketball style. It was a Sunday game against Manly in 1990. The funniest part was Peter Jackson's dramatic reaction. He buried his hands in his head as if to say "you goose Kerrod". A few seconds later dufus Annesley awarded a try. Brisbane ended up winning the game by 2 points.

That one was OK, it was in the Broncos favour!

And then almost 20 years later, Harrigan awarded a similar try to Gasnier against Manly with the benefit of slow motion replays.

It was round 22, 1992. Brisbane won anyway 15-8. Only a Queenslander could maintain the butthurt for so long over such an "injustice".

Im positive that was 3pm Saturday arvo game at Lang Park broadcast on the ABC.

I remember watching it, and the front cover of the RLW covering it.

It was clearly a "no try" even in normal speed.

But cause that era Manly team was a special type of scum, that made it even more Lolz!

You could swap the ARL badge with a League Unlimited forum wet dream badge

Basically it would be a big blob of jism on a keyboard

Nah, definitely a Sunday game. Bris won 14-12.

I remember Bill Harrigan allowing a Craig Young try against the Broncos in 88 from the blatant knock on ever. Lang Park public holiday sunny day.

I'm glad the OP's mind is at rest after all these years. I'll look back on this moment in 40 years time and think, wow, how lucky he was.
