Well given they may change colour to reflect mood or to hide from predators and prey, that depends on a great number of factors...for example, is the cephalopod happy with its lot in life? Is it perhaps going through a rough trot? Does it have ready access to Japanese anime girls? Does this particular cephalopod hang out with Kevin Proctor?

There are many factors to take into account but on balance I would say no less than 12 times. But no more than 347.
