I'm going to be in Sydney in a while so I figured I'd take advantage of the 15% discount on tickets for non-ticketed members. Logged into the members section of the Eels website, went to the discounted tickets bit and clicked the Click Here for Discounted Tickets link, which took me through to Ticketek and I bought a couple of tickets.

Looking back though, I thought they were pretty expensive for discounted tickets, so I double checked the price without logging into Ticketek. Same price!

So I called the Parra office and she goes oh no, you can't buy them discounted on the web, you have to come here and we'll sort you out.

How about instead of a link on the webpage for discounted tickets you put that then. Jeez. It's only $8.50 or so saving for 2 tickets, but still, jeez.

yea dude.... This is not the help desk for www.parraeels.com.au.
If you had feedback, probably best to email the club instead of posting your complaint on an unrelated forum?

Actually I'm glad it's being discussed, as I purchased a membership as a gift for a family member in Brisbane.

So is it resolved?

Yeah whatever ya do, make sure you don't discuss purchasing tickets to eels games. Nobody is interested and it's against website policies.

Is it forum policy to jump down the throat of someone posting a thread about anything that is not strictly to do with LU?

Glad the thread hasn't been deleted, but was there any need to hijack the issue being raised only to then not even give the email address to raise the issue with the club? *scratches head*

The thread is about the eels and that's why it's in an eels forum. So what if it's got nothing to do with league unlimited? If it did it could maybe go in the league unlimited forum.
