Good player, but I'm not sure about his captaincy. A little too quiet for my liking.

That said though, I struggle to come up with another.

Yeah on retrospect it is VERY tough for him!

He has 0 support - if you go through the lineup and attempt to name who else would be captain the only name i could possibly come up with would be Mannering but once again he is only a young pup and has only played a few tests. I honestly think a change of coach and get the Cayless boys back and Kidwell and all of a sudden they would look a LOT better.

I now believe Kemble HAS TO GO!

Attack had NOTHING!
Defence was PISS POOR!
GB had people in motion at every play in the 20m on attack.
A premier league could of defended Kiwis attack!
Lance had nothing and was their target in the defensive line.

How did we go from 24-0 two years ago over Aussie, pushing Aussie to golden point last year to take 2 massive beltings!
We have only had 2 major retirments, Jones and Wiki and yes we have a few injuries, but come on, we can't even score a try in 2 games!

I was looking forward to the world cup this time last year, but not any more. Especially if NZRL doesnt do something about the coaching and management side of it.

Kemble wont be going nowhere either, sad to say. Unless they take Skinners advice and bring in Norton. BUt that will never happen.
Then you could look at Tawera, with big-mouth Ridgey as his back-up.
That wont happen either.
So it looks like we're stuck with the short straw. Players make good coaches, not the other way round. Not at this level anyway.
We may as well blame the rules of the game while we're at it.

I seem to be the lone ranger, but i won't be on the sack Kemble/NZRL staff bandwagon

The side we have is extremely limited, in all areas. I would like to see him get a go with a decent side before writing the bloke off.

Would McClennan coaching have made a massive difference ? Maybe it would have taken 10-20 points off the scoreline, but we would still be taking hiding with the side we have. He has received similar hidings to this over the years, 50-12 in brisbane and 42-14 in England spring to mind

You know, it really is gutting. Rugby Union is on it's knees. Respected figures like
Grizz are calling the All Blacks and their coaching and management team "disgraceful".

The NPC or whatever it is called now, has been a disaster, in terms of crowds and
revenue (yes - they go together).

Yet our mob cannot take any advantage from this at all. This is the worst performing
NZ League team that I can recall. We have taken some major floggings at times, but
then have always bounced back and done well.......not this time.

It's quite sickening to be honest.

I'm not usually a kneejerk reactionary 'Sack the Coach' kinda guy...and I'm well aware of the changes the side has gone through with retirements and so many first choice players out...
But for my eyes, the thing that hurts me most about this team is it's complete lack of passion and pride. Blueys teams got a few hidings, as did my man Endacotts- But the pride and never say die attitude was there. These floggings are coming way too regular now, and the guys just looked uninterested. That is why I'm starting to agree with the get rid of Kemble crowd. I thought Freeman was a bad coach (Good guy & player I'm sure, but had nothing to motivate and spark the players to give their inspirational all), but Kemble just seems to have nothing.
