Next...MacDougall and Cronk! Do we know how much he signed for? DJs manager said the initial offer tabled by Melbourne "was not reflective of Dallas' footballing abilities".

Excellent news, I'm a huge fan of Dallas.

Now re-sign: Coops, Mad Pup, G.Turner, Friend and Tanielu.

Don't bother re-signing: Williams, Howe, McFadden and Moala.

my tip dallas qld lock in a few years.

Reynoldson will be playing lock for QLD before DJ...current pecking order for lock forwards in QLD side I think:

1. Tonie Carroll
2. Travis Norton
3. Chris Flannery
4. Kirk Reynoldson
5. Dallas Johnson

Add to this the fact that Kirk is more a 2nd rower or front rower than a lock (I think). On top of that, I think the Roosters are grooming Flannery to play lock when Luke RIcketson retires. If that does come to fruition Flannery will hold the QLD no.13 for a while. Carroll will retire soon and Norton is injured all the time. Dallas is at the moment what Kirk was last year: a bench-player. He needs a few years of consistent first grade before he can play rep footy. He is versatile though, think he may have filled in at 5/8 against the Eels...a role he has filled on a couple of occasions previously.

I used to wish we had Flannery, actually I still do but we've had Kirk the last 3 years and Johnson going real well, enough to put back my wish for now.
