Quigs I don't wish injury on any player ...

but I feel it has to be said,

IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY

I woke up this morning and for some reason it felt different, I felt free, I felt like the weight had been lifted, I felt at ease... I switched on the news and whistled as I prepared my breakfast...The news reader announced Noddy gorne for 6 weeks.
I turned to the missus and said, "Its a beautiful day".....

Frenzy.

I just want to go on record as saying I feel sorry for spider and millers. Despite knowing they will stay staunch to the Gnome no matter what their eyes tell them they must really be hurting inside.

Yet another inept performance, as noted not only here by the knowing and the fast learning but also echoed in all the major media outlets, must be making their game of false Nodulation right near unbearable.

Last night had it all. The dipsy doodle play, the ring a ring a rosey play, the 2 step quick step and a bosanova play with double pump and obligatory inside St Vincents ball, the kicking through the line against the world's best charge down merchant (did he WANT an injury?), the penetration of a eunuch, the elusiveness of a limbless man in a rockslide and the brain of a pet rock.

For the more simple minded. If Kimmorley stays on last night, injured or not, NSW lose. Period.

Just like the Sharks do.

The form of Gallen and Bird was was superb and all things being equal would be the catalyst to the Sharks kicking on from here. Noddy's not equal though. If he gets back on the field anytime soon the Sharks will continue to go belly up.

Wake up and smell the roses Sticky.

Not directed at you but is anyone else getting sick of this "best player in the world" sh*t?

I was sick of it years ago. They say it as if it means something.
Honestly, we're talking about a game played on the eastern seaboard of Australia, a few places in NZ, and the north of England (by ex-pat Aussies).

If they said "best player in the game" I could cop it. A more accurate thing to say would be "best player on the eastern seaboard of Australia"

despite being flatten around the knees in a blatantly illegal play that could only go unpenalised in SOO noddy kicked quite well and serviced the outside men quite well

its a shame he is injured and i for one wish him a speedy recovery

he outplayed his opposite number in SOO the guy annointed as 'best player in the orld' despite having apparently quite bad knee damage

he did the sharks proud as did our other two reps

one of whom was under constant bagging by many of the same guys from the noddophobe club and he was rewarded with MoM honors

OK Price's tackle was fugged and Noddy played on....
Now knowing that Gidley was on the bench and is more than a capable player don't you think it could of been a bit stupid on Noddys part to play on ?
IMO Not only was he risking further damage but he was also not acting in the best interests of the team.

Bird outplayed Thurston ..Noddy had nothing to do with it.

So Noddy put the call up to Graham Murray and told him he was staying on?

The impossstter getting his little bruise was the best thing for NSW.
If that is what limited his exposure to the game, then it was a god send & a powerful message to our club.

FEEL THE CHORUS SINGING LOUDER !!!!!!

Noddy probably said something like ''Its fine, I'll be right'' to the trainer when it clearly wasn't.

Noddy wants to be the hero and will do stupid things to try to be that hero.
If there were no subs and he was injured and his only option was to stay on I could understand his decision.
Being Minute 3 of a dead rubber with every single sub still healthy it seems like a egotistical move from Nodoz.

Murray definitely put the call him to hook him though.

Try assists
Gallen = 1
Bird = 1
Noddy = 0

Bird smashed Thurston all night , that is what happened to him.

What?

How could the first try have been scored if not for an excellent cut out from Nod?

....and GGEEBUSS Capt'n "if Nod stays on we lose, period" That's the silliest thing I've ever seen from you.

I would expect that sort of thing from a person who had regular ...hmmm..shall we say "full stops".

In saying all that. I'm gald Nod finished his origin career with a win and am looking forward to the few weeks to see our depth in the the halves.

FTR. I told you cry babies and doom merchants that the side named isn't always the one runs out...but please don't let me stop you wailing and lamenting things that haven't happened. My kids jump to early, they're 4 and 5...whats your excuse?

"20.47: Kimmorley floats a long pass to Buderus, Buderus flicks to Jarryd Hayne and Hayne dives over -TRY TO NSW. 4-0 with a kick to come."

that was the telegraphs comment on the try, haha what game were they watching? wasn;t it cooper who passed it to hayne who beat 4 players not just a "dive over"

that was the only good thing noddy did all game. he looked confused and clumsy.
