Do Parra fans want Moses

It's pretty obvious out Wests Tigers way that we will be more than happy for Moses to leave at he end of the year. We watch his pathetic kicking game and poor decisions each week. But am I and the majority of Tigers fans wrong?

I was talking with a Parra fan who I believe knows his footy and he doesn't want him to join the Eels.

What are the thoughts of Parramatta fans?

I don't reckon this is a swamp worthy thread tbh. Reasonable question.

I'd have preferred other options, but for the 6-700k he's apparently signed on for I'm not too disappointed either. I don't think anyone will deny that he has massive potential as a footballer. My worry is that he's quite a similar player to Norman

Moses has a good kicking game, but when you're the only kicker on your team you'll cop more than the usual amount of pressure.

I wanted us to sign Moses since mid-last year.

From July (when Norman was off contract and Foran was still at the club):
Maybe we do need to move Foran back to the left and replace Norman with a better kicker? Mitch Moses is off contract at the end of next year.
From August:
He will be an elite playmaker. He's not far away already.

Have you heard we have a swamp?
Enjoy it.

I'm too old to understand what you mean.

It is a genuine question as it's good to get other perspectives. Thanks to those who have replied. Good answers, definitely given me food for thought.

Tbh, Moses is very talented, but I'd prefer we persist with Gutherson at 6.

I am confident he would become a good 6 with time.

My issue with that is two major things. Firstly, Gutho hasn't really got a long kicking game, which puts a lot of pressure on Norman and stunts our attack to an extent. Secondly, Gutho is a much better fullback or centre than five eighth and better serves the side in either of those roles.

When he's played six he's basically played as an extra fullback in attack, by his own admission.

I would prefer Widdop over any other half off contract ... tho he does currently play the wrong side of the field

Moses i am unsure about, but he's not terrible.

If the tigers fans think he is so shit and are so happy for him to leave, then petition your club to let him go now

We have a shortage of first grade halves at the moment but if Parra would like to give us a quality forward as a swap I will start a petition immediately.

Over time you will discover Moses doesn't have a good kicking game of any description. Don't take my word for it just watch him play for the Tigers for the rest of the year.

Those are good points.

But I do think he will excel if given enough time.

I also think it's a shame we would miss his frontline defence.

But Moses is probably a better option in the 6.

I don't think Moses is the answer for us.

We need an organising half - shame about Foran because he was the type of player we are crying out for. Foran or Cronk (5 years ago) would transform the side into a contender.

Moses has talent but is too similar a player (albeit without the footwork) to Norman. He is also a defensive liability.

I reckon BA was loathe to go all out on another big dollar half signing and so went for the budget route with Moses.

I gather the majority of tigers fans are over the moon signing Luke Brooks over him? lol

His kicking game is fine, not top shelf but not awful.... it's just that he is the sole general play kicker at the moment.
