Do Parra fans want Moses

I rate Moses. I think he has a dig. Runs the ball. Has a money ball. Kicks goals. Is young with lotsa upside. Is a Parra Jnr (albiet Holly Cross merkin). On top of it all if BA thinks that he can make him into a top notch No.7, then I'm on board.

We already have a ball runner, his name is Norman. You sound like you are giving a description of Mortimer a few years ago. BA has a coaching record as bad as Bennett at the Knights (without the prior premierships and finals series) so you can't really appeal to authority there.

I want Jesus, Moses is just a bum hanger on who wouldnt have done shit without Jesus.

Surely you've got the order of the shit and bum hanger on round the wrong way?

You are hilarious ! I really mean that .( even though it could be true)

I'll console myself with Widdop signing.

I like Tedesco a lot and he would be hard to replace but for the first time in decades we are talking about signing quality replacements if needs be.

Yeah I hope you get Foran, Cronk or Widdop. If you can afford Dugan then he would be good for you too.

TBH our clubs (Eels & WTigers) deserve some quiet success after the shit from the last few years.

I still wish we had got widdop ... tho i get the feeling he needs to be mr dominant half paired with a plain morning coffee biscuit type half

There's a lot of musical chairs to be played in the next few months regarding halves and five-eights. Widdop, Foran, Reynolds, etc. They are all going to go somewhere and also create vacancies. Some clubs are going to miss the boat. Parramatta has got in early and signed Moses. We don't have to worry about it now. Moses is young, has plenty of 'upside' and will certainly improve our attacking options. More tries will mean less defensive work. Norman and Moses will be the best halves pairing the Eels have had for years and years. Norman is already a very good five-eight. If people don't think that Moses is better (as a specialist half) than Gutherson, Takairangi, Sandow, Keating, Robson, Humble, etc, etc, etc, then your kidding yourselves.

widdop is benefiting right now from

1. a favourable dragons draw
2. a more dominant forward pack performance thanks to 1 and the addition of vaughn + debelin stepping up and packer getting game time "under" his girth

he has been absolute crud without the space he's had this season

Agree 100%. IIRC we have our team and coach set for 2018 + 2019, with only a few loose ends like Semi, Gower, Auva'a, Terapo, FPritchard & Windscreens to be either re-signed or replaced. Most would agree we would all prefer a top notch hooker, but the off contract cupboard seems pretty bare.

Ah, a fan.

Tearing my hair out over the years watching the Magpies then the Tigers.

Under Cleary I think I can finally stop drinking my ulcer medicine by the bucket full.

How can you not love a show where the theme tune was written by Chef from South Park?

They may as well have called the show '5 boofheads in a room' but I loved it as a kid.

Just slightly off topic, but if as expected Tedesco and Woods leave the Tigers after this season, this is the side of current NRL players (Simona I guess is no longer current, but he was two months ago and Korobeate is still an active athlete in Rugby) that the Wests Tigers have let go or moved on since 2013.

1. TEDESCO, James
2. KOROIBETE, Marika
3. SIMONA, Tim
4. AYSHFORD, Blake
5. ADDO-CARR, Josh
6. AUSTIN, Blake
7. MOSES, Mitchell
8. WOODS, Aaron
9. FARAH, Robbie
10. BLAIR, Adam
11. TAUPAU, Martin
12. THOMPSON, Bodene
13. BROWN, Nathan
14. MARTIN, Te Maire
15. SIRONEN, Curtis
16. AKAUOLA, Sitaleki
17. GAVET, James

18. MARSHALL, Benji
19. PETTYBOURNE, Eddy

If you go back to 2011 the following two players would be in the team also

HEIGHINGTON, Chris
FIFITA, Andrew

Probably couldn't fit that side under the cap though so all it says is that the Tigers are great at developing players.

Cronk and Widdop will deliver a premiership in the right team.

Moses is just fiddling with the edges, of which they should only be fiddled with for a short term boost this year.
