i didnt hear stuart say they lost the game because of time wasting, its something a lot of teams have complained of.

His on-going dribbling about anything and everything that went on in the game is taking the gloss of both teams performances.

Like the Warriors, I thought the Roosters were very good on sunday.

i just want to know why the sharks get players suspended for high shots and the warriors dont,

Francis Meli is very lucky. No arguement there. But then again, the Roosters scored off the back of a penalty for a ridiculous dangerous throw charge, and a try from a forward pass. Luck went both ways in this one.

the warriors are just a dirty side

More sour grapes.

Are you blind as well as stupid? There was blood pouring out of McLinden’s nose.

In any case, Todd Byrne is the softest prick in the entire history of the game. In the Raiders game he took a massive dive and stayed down for well over 2 minutes expecting to get a penalty but failed miserably. The Roosters tactics did however work in the game against the Warriors where he again stayed down after a good hit in the corner by Thomas Leuluai. There was nothing wrong in the tackle but because he did stay down, the Roosters got a penalty and the Roosters scored from that set.

Proof positive that Stuart coaches his team of soft pricks to stay down. Stick to making shampoo ads boys.

I just find it all funny that the so called most intimidating team in the comp cant just turn around after a loss and say we will be back next week, instead they spend a whole week whinging about it.
I also find it hilarious that when things dont go this teams way we have to have a look at rule changes.
As for MACCA he was hit by a guy twice his size and he was hit hard, there is no question about MACCAS toughness just ask willy mason ;-)
Bottom line is the roosters have been whinging all year, wont do you guys any favours in the finals cos instead of looking for your balls on game day you will be turning to ricky wanting rule changes.

AS for this time wasting in conversions i find it quite simple, stop the clock for all try conversions or give a deadline b4 the clock is stopped say 45 seconds.
WEBB has been doin it all year it is only when he does it against the roosters we see it plastered all over the media, we have had 25 rds FFS.

Chook.

Nice to meet you too Chook, now as you say to me learn to read before you call me a dickhead you whinger.

There was no personal attack in my post, just a shot at the Roosters management & fans who have been whinging about the amount of time taken to kick goals when your club is up there with the best of them. Maybe Stuart learnt a lot from Andersons blowing up in the media to deflect the attention from a poor/disappointing performance from his side.

We may have heard this complaint b4 but has it been plastered all over the media like it has this week??? Has ricky become the new spokesperson of the nrl in the complaints section???? First its players lying down after tackles and now long conversions, THEY LOST THE GAME FFS it happens to teams every week.

I have absolutely no problem with it. Goalkicks are part of the game.

Hasn't Freddy Fittler been whinging for years about the hard toll the game puts on players? Well, the goal kick allows the players a chance to have a breather, so they can go hard again when play resumes.

Imagine if the clock was stopped in 2 recent games? How about the Raiders/Knights game recently, that was played in 1 deg C with a stiff wind? Stop the clock so players can stay out longer and get hypothermia? Great idea. And if they had stopped the clock at Parra Stadium last Saturday night? Fulltime would have been blown about 3am Monaday morning!!!!

There are far greater problems in the game than the length of time it takes to line up a penalty conversion!

Stuart has never been a gracious loser
so dont expect him to change.
What makes me mental is the way the roosters
manipulate the media.
Last week one paper basically stated that precious freddys
sore shoulder came from illegal play from tony puletua
what a load
puletua just smashed him like he would anyone else
since when are roosters protected species.

all this shit about time wasting is bullshit....... Fittler's only kick was the 2nd longest of the game, as the daily telegraph reported today and when did he have a shot? Ohh thats right 7 minutes from the end of game... now tell me who is trying to waste time?

And on the Macca thing, Morley copped him right on the nose, anyone who has been smashed on the snoz knows how difficult it it to get up after being smashed right on the nose.... the fact that blood was pouring from his nose dosnt help the case about him being soft either

And by the way as said ask Willie mason if Macca is soft, he ran at him all night and time after time Big Willie was put done by the mac attack...

If morley hit me like he hit Macca i know i certinally would be getting up too quickly and i doubt many people would.... That shot would have put Morley himself in space for a while.....

Roosters fans would do well to consider this before complaining in future.
