I meant that. Apparently its silver (grey...) with the odd black hoop.

I liked the black and white hooped jersey that we wore on occaision in 04/05 but it seems to have dissapeared again.

Well i just saw the first glimpse of a real-life look at the new Sharks Away Jersey on CH9 News. Doesn't look too bad, but not great.

Are there any pictures on the net of this new jersey or will i have to wait?

I think the Sharks new alternate jersey is quite ordinary to say the least. Not quite as bad as the Rabbitohs one, but not far behind.

The 40th anniversary strip is great... I really have warmed to it. The shorts will be mainly brown, with a splash of black and the three stripes (from memory).

The current away strip (teal green) is all right - looks better with the black shorts and socks though... which is something that rarely happens. It's usually the white socks and shorts.

I'd prefer the black over the white shorts and socks wearing that strip, looks better.

I dont mind paras blue one, it looks good but i think it was only worn last year in round 2 when we were smacked by the bunnies and "that" game against the broncos, so its obviously bad luck and should never be worn.

meanwhile we wore the retro when we flogged Manly 68 - 6 and also when we narrowly lost to stains in the finals.

We should wear it every game.

I prefer our alternate to our main strip

but honestly I'm not a huge fan of either

but brookie youll have to agree the white shorts with it isnt the best look

next year they should swtich the shorts around if we have to have 2 different types of shorts otherwise have black shorts with both

What do you guys think of the Panthers new 40th anniversary commemorative jersey?

Looks like a combination of all the colours they've used through the years, including the chocolate brown.

i did till i saw it was brown (as it looks black on my screen) if penrith ever have a retro game they should wear the 1991 strip

Agree. I don't think Parra's won one game in that jersey.

I quite like it though, and it's better to wear on the street than the gold one.
