What is also exciting about thorman is that he's a big game player!!.....his best performances this year have been either in rep games or in the big clashes with the top 5 sides!!....a great skill to have...been able to rise to the occasion in the big games!!

A marvellous kicker & creative player! ;-)

I honestly reckon if the Roosters where fair dinkum they will be culling a few after the GF or before the start of next year!!

Dorn would have had to sign for roughly what Walker was getting this season from the Roosters.........i'd say Manly will still be paying his contract next year as he had 1 year left on his contract......what the Roosters is doing is smart though.....buying players with a a year or 2 left on there contract so the former club still has to pay them & they basically just throw a small incentive on top of that & they get good players for next to nothing!!.....the only down fall will be when the former club stops paying the player.....they will need to significantly upgrade the contract to accomodate them.

As far as I've heard we are still a very strong chance of getting John Wilson back from the Tig's as they haven't shown much interest in retaining him (money wise).

Tigers resigned John Wilson and Darren Senter this week.

yeah, he's probably better than some of the ones we have, but we've probably got enough back rowers who could play in the centres if required:
eg. Widders, Wagon, Pai, Fitzgerald, Hopkins

He has moved up their for work or business interests apparently but I didn't think that highly of him as a player. A good utility but thats about it.

Widders..............good for 10 minutes

Wagon................constipates the backline............won't pass the ball.

Pai......................sounds exiting........looking forward to seeing him.

Fitzgerald.............not signed yet

Hopkins...............a class act with a big heart.

All we need to do is to stand Hindy out wide..........he's like having 3 centres in the team.

I'd doubt if Pai see's much First Grade.

Iagree with Widders....i've never really been a fan of his!!..he seems to inconsistent.....only time he looks like breaking the line is when outwide which he doesn't do enough of IMO.

I was hoping we released him.

No, it isnt WON'T pass the ball, it is CANT pass the ball. He is incable of offloading the ball. It is an absolute disgrace that he was ever moved from the wing let alone allowed to play five-eigth.
