The Sutton's of the game are probably the rarest of all kinds of players. I wouldnt hold my breath on getting a massive mobile ball playing six.

If Soward has been told he will not be re-signed and Price knows this then that is a huge worry indeed. Proves how bad a coach is he. More reason why anyone would blood a junior this year and have him ready for next season.

Quinlan or Shannon Crook should be given a crack in teh halves. Both young but I am sure they will learn. How old was Andrew Johns and JT when they started playing NRL? The coach took a punt and it came off.

i think we get it by now you HATE PRICE.

I can't understand why people on, maybe not this forum, keep saying guys like Quinnlan,Cummings,Ryan & Shannon Crook are only 18-20 years old & probably a couple of yesr away from 1st Grade.A fairly astute football judge by the name of Peter Sterling has always said "if you're good enough, you're old enough".Have a look back over the years & see how many players made their debut whilst still in their teens. Is there any difference between young blokes making mistakes(that they will learn from)to that of old blokes making mistakes(from which they wont learn from).

For you Sutton and Reynold knockers on this forum, take heed, these two are the inform halves this far albeit behind the best pack in the NRL. Sutton for all of his misgivings, is proving to be the dominant playmaker and leader that is capable of taking Souths to a Grand Final.

Yar this is whats frustrating, it is a risk to play young kids, many of which tbh wont be good enough to survive in the NRL (only the best survive), but its incredibly frustrating that the club sits on its hands every week and goes through the motions.

Again though.. we win 1 or 2 and a lot of people will think our problems are over.. its just wasting time we could be redeveloping our squad.
