I try to get to the dogs home games, have a season membership, but sometimes you have other things you would prefer to do. My ticket never goes to waste though. Always find someone who wants to go.

Scheduling & Homebush & the fact that I've already forked out for pay TV.

I reckon this is the thing really holding crowds down...

People shell out $40 a month to watch the game, even if they would like to get to a game, they will always pick TV first.

If FTA made it worth not getting PayTV, crowds would jump just because people would have money, they already put into RL, to shift towards tickets....

I'm a Storm fan and have only missed two home games since the start of the 1999 season - I watched our first season (1998) on pay TV before my wife got me membership.

Easts season ticket holder. Haven't missed a home game since 2006 when I was overseas for a few weeks. Also go to all away games in NSW and ACT without fail, and generally go to most interstate or Auckland games too, although I will miss the occasional away game when money doesn't permit.

Friday was my 49th game in a row for the Roosters (didn't fly to NZ in 2012).

Helps I suppose when my wife is a bigger Easts fan than I am so there is no argument or even thought of not going. We'll have to give up the interstate games soon though when we have a kid.... maybe

No for me-Broncos fan living in NSW. I do my best to see at least one or two games a season up at Suncorp, and a few when their playing down here. Uni commitments usually mean i simply don't have the time (or money) to go to the footy frequently.

Nice thread as well btw. Great to see the demographics and types of people on this forum.

Been to all games except Brisbane, Gosford (would normally go but had other arrangements)

Usually go to all games except interstate. Lucky this year we have 18 games in NSW.

I try to get to a couple of games a year, but it is hard to make it from newcastle when I work every weekend. I have still had a membership for the last 4-5 years though

Cows fan living in Brisbane, I go to the broncos game every year without fail. I have been to a few titans v cows games over the years down the coast but titans fans aren't the greatest bunch of humans to sit amongst so I don't like to bring the wife and 10yr old along to thier games.

Went to my first and only home game a few years ago as a bday present.

I used to, but not this year. I live so close to the ground that people park in front of my house on game day, it's weird not going when you see dudes walking to the game in their gear and I'm sat on the lounge.

I used to go to as many Sharks games as possible, but my interest in the NRL has waned the last 3-4 years.

It pains me to admit it, but I have not yet been to a single league game in 2014, although do still watch Sharks games on Fox.

I think I just got tired of my team and the NRL constantly being dragged through the media and I got tired of seeing players behaving like complete idiots. It pissed me off and made me question why I was supporting some of these imbeciles - glassing girlfriends, assaults, group sex scandals and now ASADA.

Now I have season membership with a rival code and I didn't miss a single home game for their last season

I know this will no doubt anger a few of the diehard fans on this site, but it's the simple truth. Not sure what the NRL could do to win my love back in all honesty
