I've been an Eels season ticket holder since 2006 and in that time I reckon I've missed maybe 10 home games.
Those that I did miss were only for important events (weddings, engagements, major birthdays).
I've been to games filled up on medication because I was so sick but didn't want to miss it.

I get to most of the away games in Sydney as well. Apart from the games at Brookvale - f**k going to that place.

Surely you're not that stupid?
A semi-final takes precedence over a regular season game...

Maybe I could understand Grand Final over a regular season game, but not a semi-final.

You didn't answer my question are you first a soccer fan and league comes second?

Nothing wrong if you are. My favourite sport is the NFL with League a very close second

Since 1983 I've been to one NRL game, bellyache dragged me over the Blueys to watch the Roosters play Melbourne without the Big 3 . . . wicked f**king sense of humour

Fox and Ch9 with ads removed have allowed me to see every game each week at least once thank f**k, which means I'm a lousy contributor, pity my knowledge of the game has suffered . . . might help if I rub on liniment to refresh old memories

Tigers fan living in Manly.

Go to all the Leichhardt games, but not to ANZ or Cambo as too long a hike on public transport.

Go to away games at Allianz, Brookvale (they haven't played there in years), and have an interstate trip every year to the likes of Melbourne, NZ.

Also will occasionally watch Manly games with mates at Brookvale if weather is OK.

Would probably get to around ten games a year.

i'm a half hour walk from brookie so I rarely miss a home game, might make one or two away games a season, with occasional interstate trips to suncorp (last one was lockys last regular season home game against the eagles - ruined somewhat by half of our team being suspended after the battle of brookie) and down to melbourne. the only NRL grounds i've never been to are Penrith (just a shit of a drive) and Gold Coast (not a great fan of the area so never really had the urge to spend a holiday there just to go t a footy game).

ridiculous what a slog it is to get to this place from the northern beaches if there aren't special event buses running. last time it took me exactly 2 hours door to door, with nothing unusual happening on the way to slow the trip down.

Although not quite as bad it's the same story from the shire; more like 90-100 minutes door to door. "A slog" is the only apt way to describe it. The peanuts who push to have a centralised stadium model need to understand this.

Bought a season ticket this year but have been bad with attendance, I just can't find anyone to go with a lot of weeks and I don't like going alone

I attend as many as I can but it's a bit of a hike to Penrith from the shire. Friday and Monday night games are a pain in the ass but Sat and Sun games are usually fine.

No because I live 5 hours away. Do have a country membership though and will hopefully attend a couple of matches at some point. Did go to the Good Friday match but that was an away game

All Panthers home games this season bar 1. Also looking at traveling to away games to support the team. Have been to Parra Stadium this year, Allianz last year. Looking forward to travelling to ANZ, Allianz, and maybe Leichardt.

I moved interstate this year but when in Sydney the only thing that kept me away from Sydney-based Home or Away games was poorly scheduled Monday night games or the odd clash with an important commitment. It can be pretty hard to get across town for 7pm Monday kickoffs after work

Trying to figure out what you're getting at here. It should be plainly evident with the time I dedicate to updating etc on this website as to what my first sport is.

Seeing as you want a clear answer - rugby league is clearly and obviously my first sport. Football is a close second - and in instances where there is a knockout semi final (which doubles as a Grand Final qualifier) - it takes precedence over a solitary regular season home game. I can see the Bulldogs in a week or two... the Mariners don't play again now til at least August.

Broncos member, but there are usually two or three games a year that I simply can't get to for other commitments. Would go to every game otherwise.
