Me & my mates waited after the game to get some photos & autpgraphs of the players after the game. We approched Karmichael who gladly signed my Maori friends flag. Karmichael asked him "Are you from home?"....

If Karmichael is calling NZ his 'home' then why the hell is he wanting to play for Australia?

This sums it up..Hunt is a KIWI and should be representing his country of birth...if he does not then he has no pride for New Zealand and no allegiance to Kiwis..

Look, I'm wondering is New Zealand is still a country. No offence to Kiwis, but seeing that Henry (or was it Robbie) Paul played for England in Union, Tony Carroll and Brad Thorn played for the Kangaroos, Karmichael Hunt wants to be a moron (sorry - maroon)... has NZ sunk below the Pacific Ocean?

We know the feeling, after all Dragon is an Aussie band, Split ENZ (notice the NZ part there? the irony is amazing), Crowded House was purely an Australian band (songs about Te Awamutu anyone?) the Finn brothers are Australian, Phar Lap was an Australian born and bred horse, Sam Neill is an Australian actor, Jane Campion is an Australian producer, Rusty Crowe is a proud true blue born and bred Aussie - next thing up and comers like Betchadupa or Shihad will be Australians. Basically you just have to have visited Australia and be a Kiwi with talent and you're claimed.

And you watch, you'll chuck all the has-beens New Zealand's way. Namely slava and Craig McLaughlan :lol:

Dragons - the Hunter Brothers, were Kiwis. We dodn't claimthose druggoes.

Split enz - TimFinn recently said that he was happy to have his band referred to as Australian because it was Oz that gave him sucess.

Crowded House - 66% were Australian.

Phar Lap was trained to glory in Oz. In NZ he'd be rounding up sheep.

Sam Neill - Kiwi who perfected an Aussie accent to gain fame and glory

Jane Campion- producer of boring flicks. We'll keep Peter Weir, thank you very much.

Russel Crow - "Thank Christ for Australia" - it's him claiming US - note he supports an Aussie team, not the Warriors ;-)

Minichello, McKinnon, Wesser, Slater, Bowen, Schifoski, Peachey, Hodgson, Hornby are all better fulbacks then k Hunt. He has terrible positional play and is a bit of liability at the back. Then again Tony Carrol was selected to play for Aus last year which was a disgrace
