I wouldn't want to go back to the days when dirty forearms, elbows and niggle were involved all the time.

But a heated, good exchange of two guys going toe to toe in the middle of a close and tough match is good to see... as long as it doesn't happen all too often. Half a dozen of them or so per year (plus a couple in SOO and internationals) is well and truly enough to get my fix, plus gives the added bonus of not attracting too much bad press for league.
