Get so emotional about a game of football that you don't wanna do anything? Like say you had plans to go out and you watch your team get hammered and you feel so depressed that you no longer feel like going out? Last night after watching that disgusting refereeing by that tosser Maxwell (who the fk is he anyway seriously mate go back to the under 12's), I felt that gutted that I just wanted to curl up and die. I went to bed with my heart feeling like it had been smashed into a million bits. I was choking back tears all night during and after the game and had a massive tension headache to go along with it. A friend said to me "I know you're passionate about them but don't cry it's not worth it, save your tears for something else." And I replied (it was sms) "I can cry over football cause I know it will be here for me next week and the week after. Nothing ELSE is worth it." Curious to know if i'm alone in taking it so personally?

Knights v. the Eels...Johns knee.

I was actually getting ready to head out when it happened. I had friends that had driven up the coast to come out with me. I was shattered, i knew what it meant for the whole season. Tears were flowing...Mascara was unable to be reappied.

The night was over. Go home my friends...go home.

Nah, i'm so used to supporting losing teams it's not funny...

Hurricanes making the super 14 final was a bonus for me :D.

im used to it as well.. but theres something so different about losing a game cause you played like sh*t and losing a game because all of the calls were going against you .. u feel like you were cheated out of something and it just feels like someone is smashing your heart.. :( like the 66-0 loss to the Warriors didnt make me upset at all .. it just really p*ssed me off.. but a 6 pt loss to a side that shouldnt have won really cuts deep..

3 games this year that i felt cheated out of
Bunnies v Knights
Bunnies v Roosters (2nd game)
last night v Manly ..

Yes.

When I was in highschool, whenever Dragons lost on a Sunday, it wasn't uncommon for me to chuck a sickie on the Monday.

I get very emotionally involved.
And yeah, sometimes a loss or bad decisions can ruin my night.

Oh god yeah. 2004 it was common for me to come home after a loss, go straight to my room, turn off all the lights and close all the blinds, and then spew obscenities at anyone who came into my room. I'm handling the losses much better nowadays :p. I actually didn't really notice the loss today, as I spent the whole second half helping furry make fun of WC

Last year, Round 1 vs Melbourne.

Having your hopes and dreams for a whole season come crashing down in 80 minutes is a gut-wrenching feeling.

2002, after the Cap reveal. I cried a lot that week.
2003 after the Rooters knocked us out.
After the Parramatta and Wests games last year.

Manly V Newcastle 1997 GF

Manly were favourites for the 3rd year running.

I was a writeoff for 2 weeks after that

I cried when we got knocked out of the finals last year too.
Watched it in a pub in Crown, very embarrassing.

Game 2 2003 State Of Origin

Queensland played the worst game of football I had ever seen. I had watched them lose 56-16 in 2000, whilst that was dreadful, this particular game was extremely poor on the Queenslanders part.

I was so disappointed. I was just glad I didnt go to the game, otherwise I would have been demanding my money back

2004 was a year that helped me deal with losses. We had 18 of them, so i was well drilled on how to act after a loss.
